Commitment to the No Man Left Behind Training Project

We are looking for a few churches that want to help their men mature into fully devoted followers of Christ who live out their faith in a vibrant way, touching the lives of all those with whom they come in contact. Making a disciple takes a long time and Men’s Ministry is difficult. To that end, we want to give all the training and support churches need to be successful.

The Gathering of Men will provide:

1. A seven-month training program using the No Man Left Behind Model.
2. A Men’s Ministry Coach for each church for one year, to be available to the Men’s Ministry Leader, to encourage him and walk with him in the details of Ministry to Men, like . . .
   • Recruiting and training your Men’s Ministry Leadership Team.
   • Understand the critical importance of building your men’s ministry on relationships, not programs.
   • Writing the Vision Statement for your Men’s Ministry.
   • Choosing an exciting name for your Men’s Ministry.
   • Sharing creative ideas on how to attract men to your small groups.
   • Walking with you in the difficult, discouraging times of leadership.
3. A seminar on How to Lead Effective Men’s Small Groups.
4. A Catalytic Event, such as The Seven Seasons of A Man’s Life, to kick off the new and exciting emphasis of your Men’s Ministry.

The Church will provide the following:

1. A Men’s Ministry Leader and an Associate Men’s Ministry Leader to take the training.
2. Attendance at all seven Training Sessions, unless providentially hindered.
3. A nominal charge for training materials. Each man taking the No Man Left Behind training will need a manual and the book, No Man Left Behind. The cost will be $20.
4. Men from your church to take Small Group Leadership Training.
5. Participation in the Catalytic Event - probably early March.
